It was founded in 1975 Paula Kassell was a founding member and it was the first statewide feminist publication in the United States. The newspaper went national in 1975. The organization was eventually given to Vivian Scheinmann then Phyllis Kriegel. During the 80s, politics however created a decline for feminist newspapers. The Supreme Court decision in 1989 that allowed states to restrict abortion rights ignited their publication, though. It stopped publication in 1993.&lt;/div&gt;</text>

A branch of the school was also founded in Hackensack on 241 Main Street in November of 1903. There was also an Eagan's Secretarial School in Englewood.</text>
