Due to sanitation issues, it was sold to George Pappahem in 1982 who effectively met sanitation standards. The Sugar Hill Gang's &lt;span&gt;Henry Lee "Big Bank Hank"&lt;/span&gt; Jackson worked as the pizza shop manager at Crispy Crust&lt;span&gt;.&lt;/span&gt; In the summer of 1979, Sylvia Robinson, owner of Sugar Hill Records, put together the Sugar Hill Gang in front of Crispy Crust. The Pizza shop is a landmark to the birthplace of commercial Hip Hop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Pizzeria is still open today.</text>
