                <text>St. Anthony's Orthodox Church was the first Pan-Orthodox Parish in North America. In 1956 Mitchell Moore, Theodore Maloof, Abraham G. Debs, George Shamyer, Edward Deeb, Alex Sahadi, and George A. Hatab started the mission. They began the congregation at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Englewood. In December 1957 the congregation temporarily moved into the Masonic Lodge and by 1961 land was purchased to build a church.</text>
