                <text>Seward Prosser was a Banker. He grew up in Englewood. He began working with the Equitable Life Assurance Society. he acted as the vice president of the Astor Trust Company from 1907 to 1912. He was the president of the Liberty National Bank from 1912 to 1914. He was the president of the Bankers Trust Company of New York from 1914 to 1923. He was also the chairman of the Bankers Trust Company of New York beginning in 1923. In 1931 he was head of the New York Emergency Employment Committee. Part of his property in Englewood used to be the Dwight Morrow Estate. He married Constance Barber. He had three daughters, Mrs. Leighton H. Stevens, Mrs. John A. Gifford, and Mrs. Richard K. Mellon.</text>
