Englewood Hospital Fire (1951)
On July 6th, 1951 at 11:30 P.M. a fire broke out in Englewood Hospital. It burned the men's dormitory in Pierce Hall. Richard Barcello, an employee of the hospital, was arrested and pleaded guilty to arson and three counts of murder. He was sentenced to life in prison. -
