  • Paul W. Smalbein was a business owner. He was the son of Gustave A. Smalbein. In 1928 he reestablished his family bakery and opened numerous stores in the nearby area. He married Lura Nell Beville. He had two children, Paul W. Smalbein Jr. and Mrs. Robert Frantz. 
  • Gustave A. Smalbein was a local business owner. He founded Smalbein's Bakery Products in 1900 in Englewood. Smalbein's was one of the first, if not the first, Jewish bakeries in downtown Englewood. He retired in 1918 but helped his son Paul W. reestablish the Bakery in 1928. He…
