Tracey Ross (born Linda Tracey Ross on February 27, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American model and television actress. Early in her career she won beauty pageants — including Miss Black Teen-Ager of New Jersey in 1974 — which helped launch her modeling career, followed by her win in L’Oreal’s Look of Radiance contest in 1978. Her modeling breakthrough came in 1984 when she became the first Spokesmodel champion on the television talent show Star Search, earning national exposure and opening doors into acting. In her youth, Ross moved to Englewood and graduated from Dwight Morrow High School.
