Debbie Morgan (born September 20, 1956, in Dunn, North Carolina) is an American actress best known for her groundbreaking work in daytime television. She rose to prominence portraying Angie Baxter Hubbard on All My Children, a role she played for decades and which earned her a Daytime Emmy Award in 1989, making her the first African American actress to win Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Morgan has also appeared on other major soap operas including The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Loving, and The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as in films such as Eve’s Bayou. Widely respected for her talent and longevity.
