The Ronettes were an R&B singing group. It was founded in 1957 by Veronica "Ronnie" Yvette Greenfield, her sister Estelle Bennett, and their cousin Nedra Talley-Ross. They started by singing at Peppermint Lounge in New York City before signing up with Colpix Label. They were managed by Phil Spector in 1963. They were well-known for their song "Be My Baby" in 1963. The group split in 1967.
