Description

BergenPac is a performing arts center and school. The original theater was a movie theater that opened in 1926. That theater closed in 1973 but was reopened through the efforts of John Harms. The John Harms Center opened on October 10, 1976. The center closed on April 14, 2003. The Bergen Performing Arts Center took its place when the organization bought the theater in September with the aid of the Bergen County Improvement Authority.
